How I post every single day on social media in only 1-2 hours a month!

Friday Media Promo Posts

My name is Sorcha and I run the Empowering Expat Teachers community across a number of social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. So many of us teachers are also entrepreneurs with side businesses, so we know that social media is an essential part of that. Not only does social media allow us to share tips and advice to help our members and followers, but it also allows us to market our products and services. However, when you are busy at work, it can be so difficult to find the time to schedule daily posts across all our social media. Sometimes it can feel like such an overwhelming chore that we neglect to do it for days or weeks on end, which is actually very detrimental to our businesses. We all know that consistency is key and one tool that I recently discovered to help me post consistently is MeetEdgar, a social media scheduler that allows me to schedule, share, and recycle my posts automatically across all my social media platforms.

Here are three things I do to help me schedule a month's worth of social media on MeetEdgar in only one or two hours!

1. I tailor my social media content to what my members and followers need, by looking at questions asked on the Empowering Expat Teachers Facebook group or via IG DMs. I turn my answers to them into social media posts and captions, by using the voice recording function on Notes on my phone to record my answers super quickly.

2. When I have my post or caption ready, I quickly jump on Canva and create a social media graphic using my branded templates- check out Canva on my affiliate link here.

3. Then I log into my MeetEdgar account and click on "Add a New Piece of Content" to a category I have created based on a weekly theme to appear at a specific time, e.g. Monday Money Tips at 9am or Testimonial Thursday at 11am. I simply copy and paste the social media post/ caption, any relevant links and my hashtags to the content. I then add the social media graphic from Canva and select which social media channels I want it to appear on and click"Save to Library." It is that simple! I know that this piece of content will automatically appear evergreen until I take it down.

Back in September when I began to focus full-time on Empowering Expat Teachers, I spent one whole day scheduling as much of my social media as possible, which has freed me up so much! I have more time to work with my clients, more time to have initial discovery calls and consultations, more time to be able to pitch myself to appear in different publications, more time to reflect on my clients need, what my followers want, and how I improve my services, and more free time to relax and to do more of the things that I love.

While social media is an important part of my brand and my business, using MeetEdgar means it's not my main focus. Why is this positive? Because my main focus should be my clients and on giving them the best experience ever! I am a very happy MeetEdgar customer and affiliate, so if you'd like to try MeetEdgar for a 7-day free trial, sign up here using my affiliate link!

You know I love hearing from you so once you have checked out Meet Edgar here on my affiliate link, send me a DM on IG and let me know how it's helped you spend less time on social media and more time on serving your followers and clients better!
