2. Before purchasing anything, take 2 minutes to Google "Company name + discount/ promo code" to see if there's one online to use.

3. Some companies don't always advertise their teacher discount rate, so ALWAYS ask if there's a teacher discount rate! It only takes about 10 seconds of your time, but could prove to be very lucrative for you if there is a special teacher rate!

You know I love hearing from you, so let me know in the Comments how much you have saved with these tips!

Ready to be a Six Figure Expat Teacher?

Well, this is your sign! I plan to run a FREE masterclass or 3-part online workshop (I haven't decided yet) in the last week of January to teach members how to set SMART money goals, which is essential for a successful Six Figure Money Strategy. Full disclosure, I will be reopening The Six Week Six Figure Expat Teacher System at the end of January and the FREE training will be a module in the paid service, so it will be full of valuable, practical information and strategies. If one of your 2022 resolutions is to be a Six Figure Expat Teacher (like what I have done in my time as an expat teacher) by saving more, earning more, retiring with more, developing your money mindset and creating a six figure money strategy with a like-minded community and accountability, click here and sign up to the list to be the first to know when the FREE training takes place!

For new members of the Empowering Expat Teachers community, let me introduce myself! My name is Sorcha Coyle and I’ve been teaching in the Gulf (Qatar and Dubai) for the past 10 years. I also run Empowering Expat Teachers, whose mission is to empower future and current expat teachers to lead personally, professionally, and financially rewarding lives. Follow me on Instagram here and join the EET FB community here for daily job-hunting, CV and cover letter tips! I also run The Six Week Six Figure Expat Teacher System- learn more about it here.
